Social Media Branding I'm Living for
Safe to say that I've always been obsessed with Brasilian Marketing but these trends have definitely inspired me to amplify them to the world that surrounds me.
Just as Brazilian marketing trends are very successful, design trends in Brazil are also gaining the spotlight. They are simply not afraid to try new things and defy all graphic design rules, Brazilian brands risk everything in the digital environment and, in response, they are able to achieve incredible results.
If you're also looking for a way to enjoy the taste of "Brazilianness", I've gathered here the top successful digital design trends trending in Brazil!.
Do you dare to try them out?

Be bold with colors and shapes.
Brazilian designers are internationally known for their daring elements in graphic design. Here, the more "out of the box" your idea is, the better.
Artistic elements alongside retro elements? Elegance with fun? Yeah, totally! With this trend, you have the green card to mix strong colors without any fear of making mistakes, using powerful elements, and even daring to choose different typography.
Meanwhile, the Instagram profile of the social media Jota Digital is surrounded by a mix of lilac and a strong orange
Another Brazilian social media that also bet heavily on probably started this disruptive bold trend is Brenda Scalco, mixing thin typography with powerful colors.
100% minimalist
On the other spectrum, there is this global movement that has also captured Brazil. You know that famous saying that "less is more"? This has become the main motto of minimalism, a trend that has been successful worldwide in decoration, lifestyle and, of course, graphic design as well.
With minimalism, brands changed their logos and started to reduce visual elements in content to get a better read. But if you turned up your nose when you read the word "minimalist", calm down! This new trend is far from boring and can change depending on your branding.
A good example of this is the Instagram profiles of Marina Campello and Agência Violet. Marina, a fashion social media, uses more elegant minimalism, with sober tones and thin typography and almost always with a serif.
In this trend, the secret to success is to have a reduced color palette (between 3 and 4 colors maximum), not to change the typography chosen frequently, and to always allow enough space for the design to "breathe".
3D Elements all the way
3D elements have been gaining strength in the digital environment. Used before only for product commercials, now the three-dimensional technique is increasingly stealing attention in social media posts.
A strong example of this was the avatar of Casas Bahia, a retail chain for furniture and appliances in Brazil, which underwent a drastic change in 2020.

A strong example of this is the creative studio Yluminey by Luiza Aziz, which mixes in its palette strong shades of orange, pink and green that would previously be completely rejected by many designers
Meanwhile, Agência Violet uses minimalism techniques to create a cuter and more delicate look, with a complementary color palette and a good balance of elements.
